Another good place near Heinz Hall is Southwest Bistro, I heard the
chef/owner at SWB was the one who developed the menu for Seventh
 Street Grill.

I've always had a good meal at the bistro and I hear they are applying
for a liquor license. Any one know anything about that?

Definitely agreed! I didn't mention it oreviously because it is a bit
pricier and the orginal question was asking for meals in the $10-15 range.
SWB is more like $20, but the food is absolutely delicious - the best I've
had in the burgh. (Haven't been to Pat's Place yet - no slight intended.)

For their sake, I hope so, but being able to bring my own wine was a
definite bonus. I'd eat there less often if I have to shell out big bugs
for drinks on top of the food.

I'll have to make it out to PP one of these days - everybody raves about it!
