Paule's Lookout

I had lunch there today. Not the kind of place I would normally go
near but I was visiting thousands of inflatable bunnies and I was too
hungry to go looking. If you have to take someone to show them a view,
this is cheaper, at least, than the Mt. Washington places. The menu is
standard prime rib ($15 I think), fried fish, veal parm kind of stuff.
I had their fried chicken and it was surprisingly good. The bread is
this eggy roll stuff that was not worth anything, the glazed yams were
straight out of a can. OTOH the place was full and everyone else was
having a good time and were clearly repeat visitors. The salad was
plain, but fresh and crisp. They automatically added a 15% tip, but it
was Easter and I don't know if that is normal practice. That said, the
service was nice if not exceptional. They are on Skyline Drive in West
 Mifflin.

 BTW, the view is awesome.
