Last Sunday I went to bruch at the Grand Concourse. It was very nice.
There was a good selection of foods. Lots of cheese with fresh fruits.
There were two people who made your omelets to order and also French
toast. I especially liked the desserts-English trifle, apple dumplings
with Bavarian cream, cookies, cheesecake, brownies, carrot cake and more.
They had waffles with your choice of maple syrup or Bananas Foster.I chose
the bananas. They were great. For something more substantial, you could
choose, scrambled eggs, English muffins, Italian sausage, and Roast Beef.
The price was only $15.99. I have also had brunch in the Orchard Cafe in
the Vista. It is slightly more-$18.99-I think. ButI enjoyed the brunch
at the Grand Concourse more. Also while you are waiting to be called, you
can have doughnuts and coffee. The coffee is not great, but the doughnuts
are kind of tasty and good. They are freshly made. Louise Gray

Hmm. Has anyone tried Poli's Sunday brunch? I've been there about three
times; each time has been exceptionally pleasant. Much better than the
standard Eat-n-Park "chow-till-you-bust" swill, at a great price (about $8,
I think). Always a nice fish dish, made-to-order omeletes, several juices to
choose from, nice pastries, fresh fruit, etc.
