There's several on Mt. Washington that have a fabulous view....here's a
run down with some notes on the food/price
*The LaMont--food is pretty good, a reasonable selection, pretty formal
dining, a little costly ($20-24 per dinner)
*The Georgetown Inn--one of my favorites...nice menu with pretty decent
 selection...their veal oskar is nice..this is 2 story restaurant...view
is good..less expensive (moderate) than some others on the mount...not
 as formal
 Christopher's--lovely restaurant...nice menu...prices about the same as
 the *LaMont...atmosphere a little nicer....formal dining

*The above restaurants have a diverse menu--they are not noted for any
one "type" of food--their views are the attraction. But, I would say
that all of them are nice rstaurants....

The Grandview Saloon-this place is 2 stories...big outdoor deck (no
 seating there)..food is pretty good--burgers, pastas, salads--very
informal....casual and good view (same of others)

If I were you, Sunil, go to Mt. Washington for the veiw either before or
after trying some of Pittsburgh's other great restaurants....I have a
post on this board asking for suggestions...maybe you can get some
 ideas...Judi
