A real treat. this is 15 min. out of the city. Also on Rte 15 close to Isaac's is the White Pines. They used to be called Ranchland and had C-W dancing and square dancing on the weekends - i don't know if they do anymore, but you could call. Hope Station is a good, fancy place. i don't know what street it's on. for great seafood go down rte. 83 south, until you see a crab house on the left by an exit (i think it's called uncle bill's) the trip is about 25 minutes. i'm sure you will find plenty to do, but check out the capitol, Eddie Murphy just filmed part of a movie there. it's supposed to be one of the most beautiful ones in the US. Also, one block from there is the State Museum - with the best Archaeology Exhibit my Arch. professor has ever seen. They will have info on all the cultural stuff going on. enjoy your stay (and skip Three Mile Island) Laurie email if you want any more info - pa dutch rest. in lancaster county or whatever.
