Since the closure of Paulies Restaurant in West Mifflin, there wasn't anywhere close to eat in the area. Just this week a new place opened at the G & K Hall. They told me that originally it was going to be just take out and deli but when Paulies closed, people kept asking for more than that. I ate there Thursday and was pleasantly surprised. Big menu, low prices and breakfast all day! Hubby had orange roughy, I had crab cakes and homemade pie. The only drawback (for us) was that because this is a family restaurant the do not serve alcohol. He wanted the veal parm but not without a glass of wine. Linda

Millies Kitchen in W.Mifflin
G & K is located on Texas Ave. in West Mifflin, about a mile from Paulies Lookout that has now closed. It is just off of Homestead-Duquesne Road. From Dravosburg, (the way I head), go up Skyline Drive, continue on Pennsylvania Avenue to the second stop sign. Turn left at the fire station and go a few blocks to the end of the street where you have to turn. That's Texas Ave. and the G & K is right in front of you. They have a large parking area. The wedding hall takes up the right side of the building and Millies Kitchen is on the left. They have specials every day that they list on the marquee outside. Stuffed pork chops, mac and cheese, and delicious desserts, too. There is a doughnut case with pastries right in the front of the place. Hope this helps.. bjd wrote: > Where is the G & K hall?
