Liangs and also Srees

Someone asked about Liangs Hunan new location. I walke by the place on
Liberty Avenue a couple of days ago. If you were headed down Liberty
toward Gateway Center from the Double Tree it will be on your right
in the block past Del Frattos. They didn't have much of a sign when
I saw them but as I was on foot I was able to read the name on the menus
 they put in the window.

 I have not eaten there.

I have eaten at Sree's new location in Market square about four times.
It's one of the best lunch values downtown. For $3.99 inclusive you
get either a Chicken based entree and one vegetarian choice, or
three vegetarian entrees. Entree choices have been pretty steady.
Yesterdat I got Potatos and Tomatoes, Potatos and Chick Peas, and
Peneer with Spinach. All entrees come with plain white steamed rice
and a yellow rice (saffron I would guess), and half a naan. They
serve from 11:00-2:00. It's a steam table type affair (they server you
over a counter but it's from trays in a steam table) so you can imagine
that the food is "fresher" earlier in the day than later. However, any
flattening of flavor can be helped with a gereous serving of a spicy
homade pickle--a bowl of which I always on the counter.

Note: as of right now they have no tables. It's take out only. Also in
the same space is the Juice Shop..with juice, smoothies etc. Haven't tried
 their wares.
