Yesterday there was no school (Hooray!!!!!). So I went down to the Strip
to visit this cute little restaurant called Jessie and Jo's. It is on
21st Street between Smallman and Penn. It is very small but cozy inside.
They are open from 11 o'clock at night until 2 o'clock the next
afternoon. Two ladies run this restaurant.
I just love pancakes so I ordered pancakes. I also ordered a 3 egg
vegetable omelet. My housemate ordered French toast and the same type of
omelet. The co-owner told us that we were going to have too much food.
But we didn't believe her!!!! The hotcakes were substantial enough but
the omelet came with two pieces of toast made with Italian bread and a
big mound of homefries. I had so much food that I almost had to take my
girdle off. The coffee was also very very good and I am fussy about
coffee. All in all it was a very nice experience eating there. The two
owners are very lovely The restaurant has only been open a relatively
short while under their management. All in all, we return to try some
of the other things. I forgot to say that our bill was only $13 for two
 people.
