Go to New Delhi, just around the corner. I've been to both places dozens of times. Both are good, but New Delhi is consistently a little bit better, at least from my carnivorous perspective. It also seems a touch more classy (uniformed waiters, etc.). Prices are identical.

Not surprisingly, for every opinion there's a counter-opinion. I feel the opposite about Tandoor and New Delhi. I think the meats (esp. the tandoori chicken) are better, as well as the vegetable dishes. I actually like the wait staff at Tandoor better also; the New Delhi guys were really in my face and EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE IN THE RESTAURANT harangued me about getting coffee and dessert ("But it comes with the buffet!!"), which I just didn't want. Tandoor stacks up with to the best Indian restaurants I've eaten at, including the late Maharaja, which was my favorite.

All of which is not to say I think New Delhi is bad. It's certainly a major improvement from Jasmine House, for those who might remember.
