I can second this recomendation for Samosa, great food given the price and the relative dearth of high quality indian in Philly. I used to eat at tandoor every several weeks until I came down with a nasty case of food poisoning. (Staph. aureus toxins, 90 minuites after eating at tandoor.) Now I can't bring myself to step into the place, even though I enjoyed it for a number of years. Also the chat house on 40th serves items not available at other Indian restaurants in the city (to my knowledge..) Some are pretty good (and if they aren't great, well at least they are different) J.E.D
