Since it was a courtyard, it was quite quiet by big city standards.

I'll second that. We went there Friday night. The courtyard was really
pleasant -- although since it is enclosed on four sides, I imagine it
could be quite warm on a truly hot day. My husband reported that the
Brown Ale was significantly better (richer) than when they first opened.
I tried the homemade cranberry gingerale, which was really good. We had
the Yucatan wings, flavorful and just the right amount of hot, although
the wings could have been meatier. My husband raved over the Exotic
Mushroom Pizza -- crust was crisp on the outside, chewy on the inside,
and the mushrooms were great. I had the Grilled Turkey and Watercress
Salad, with a very tasty dried cranberry vinaigrette and a generous
sprinkling of pistachios. It came on a large portion of fresh baby
greens; my only complaint would be that the shoestring fried sweet
potatoes on top were WAY too greasy. Service was appropriately
attentive, although the kitchen was a bit slow. The outdoors menu has
the appetizers, pizza, salads, and sandwiches (wraps and such) but not
 the (pricier) entrees.

 We got there just before six and were the second party on the patio;
when we left around 7:30, a line was starting to form. I know some
people have had complaints about the food at Church Brew Works, but our
four meals there have all been very good.
