Normally one might not post to a newsgroup because of a good experience but this is the case for the DRAGON GARDEN restaurant in NE philly right off of Cottman and Castor (its on castor 7326) because it was soo good .I had tried them before a few years ago , probably under a different name and so since we got their flyer , was in the mood for mixed vegetables and Bean Curd in light sauce ,so we ordered some. I expressly asked for light sauce , not heavy maybe garlic.The lady on the other end of the phone was very pleasant and immediately said ok like she knew what we wanted.When I arrived to the restaurant to pick it up , I immediately noticed how clean this business was , although they had no customers and it was late ,it was immaculate.So since no customers were evident I said to myself to expect not very much.Well I was wrong.This was the best food , I almost ever ate Chinese wise.I can't vouch for anything else and in fact the egg roll could have been bigger but if you are ever in the mood for this particular dish, do yourself a favor, go there and keep them in business , albeit just for this dish.It was number #58 and ask for the light sauce. I just wanted to point out, I work part time in a business that delivers good food to many parts of the Delaware Valley and I never wrote to a newsgroup about a particular establishment.I was not paid, to say this and in fact I cannot guarantee how the other meals will be.I just know this had MANY different vegetables cooked to perfection with a light surreal garlic sauce that was unbelievably good .So if your in the mood get on over , and tell them Rick told you about it .
