hardshell crabs

 Charlene,

Someone is probably going to tell you to try the Baltimore House, but I
would avoid that place if I were you. Their food, including the
hardshell crabs, is awful. Everything was reheated, and the baked potato
tasted like it had originally been baked sometime during the Reagan
 administration.

I'm not sure that there is a place to get good hardshell crabs in
Pittsburgh, but if there is, I'd sure like to know about it too.

I don't think there is in Pittsburgh. If you don't mind a little ride try the Hen House in Frosburg, MD. Call first because I haven't been there for a few years. Just go south on Rt. 40 past Yough. Dam and take I 68 to Frostburg, closest to the shore you are going to get.

Herb's, Rt. 30 in Jennerstown. I've never been there, but I've passed it. It's a small bar along the road.

Herb's on Route 30 is excellent!! Always call first, though.
