Greensburg?

There is a brewery in Greensburg downtown. It is located in the old train station. It is called Red Star. There is also the Mountain View Inn which is located on RT30 between Greensburg and Latrobe. The third choice could be DeSalvo (sp) in the old train station in Latrobe. I would say the food in all the places is average, but the surroundings are interesting.

Did you see the P-G review of Valozzi's? Looked worth a stop...

DiSalvo's in Jeannette has been Mauro's for some time now, basically the same menu though. The new place mentioned is The Baggy Knee, it has been through a number of owners and changes but is currently a second location for Rodney's from North Hunting ton.

Valozzi's is always excellent (if pricey), the Red Star is good if you like beer and are not especially hungry. When I see people leaving with doggy bags I can't imagine what they ordered and couldn't finish!

While I will agree with the other posts in regards to the places mentioned being interesting; I would not pick any of those (well maybe Valozzi's). Other places to mention are DiSalvo's or Denunzio's in Jeannette, the Derby in Greensburg, the new place that went in diagonal from the YMCA (forget the new name), but one of my favs is Route 66 Grille on your way out of town on rt66 heading towards Delmont

Just the opinion of a local Greensburg Head Chef (and not at the Rt 66 Grille either)
