Hi!
A few friends and I went to Gene's Last Chance in the Strip tonight for a few
beers and munchies. I know that the tv weatherpeople said that it was going to
be bad driving tonight, but who trusts TV weatherpeople anyway? There were few
people at the bar/restaurant. We ordered off the appetizer menu as they were
having a free buffet at 7:00. If the appetizers are indicitive of their dinner
food, don't even bother. We ordered a red pepper, feta cheese, black olive
appetizer. It was terrible!!!! A slice of grilled french bread, with
microscopic pieces of the cheese, pepper and olives thrown on top. The
appetizer prices weren't inexpensive considering the extremely poor food. The
quality of the free buffet is about what I would expect to find in my son's
elementary school cafeteria.
