Among the restaurants that we consider to be a waste of our money is Viet Thai Restaurant located on Atherton Street (next to the bus station). Serving ethnic food (mainly Vietnamese), Viet Thai offers inferior quality at a stiff price. Viet Thai is a family-run operation and the management has no concept of good customer service. Rude and disorganized are the two main characteristics of the management. At the moment Viet Thai restaurant is enjoying being the only "game in town" - no other Vietnamese or Thai restaurant in the city of State College. This perhaps explains why they can survive this far. In short Viet Thai restaurant should either improve or be closed down.

Thanks for the review. Some friends and I visit State College at least twice a year just for the fun of it. In fact, we just started to plan our next visit. Our favorite places are the Allan Room, Corner Room, The Deli, The Waffle House for breakfast, and Ye Olde Diner (for the grilled stickies). I can't wait for the Arts Festival!
