Coney Island - Johnstown PA

I've been looking for your e-mail address for almost a year.......

I don't know the recipe but my grandfather does work for the old lady that owns Coney Island, Mrs. Contackais. Sometimes he gets jars full of the coney island sauce from her.

I do know she uses Berks Hot Dogs. Berks is a company in Reading, PA.

Do you remember how the cooking ladies used to line up the Hot Dog Buns on their arms on busy nights?..... that surely added flavor to the dogs....

I know several people that live out of town often buy a bag full of Coney Island Hot Dogs to take back home.

I wouldn't drive too far for a Coney Island Hot Dog, but Coney Island is to Johnstown what Pramanti Bros. is to Pittsburgh.....
