I just went to the City Grill on the southside for the first time. After being seated and looking at their menu i expected an average meal. After being served my husband and i were really impressed with their food. He ordered some chicken dish with pasta and he said it was probably the best piece of chicken he has ever had, which means alot because he has had a lot of chicken in his life. I had the grilled salmon which was very good. This is a very reasonable restaurant with a friendly staff and friendly environment, as you sit pretty close to your neighbors. i recommend this for a casual night out, especially after seeing a movie at the Rex. It also happens to be next door to another one of the South Side's brighter spots, the 1889 Cafe. Although I've been a bit lax lately and have some updates to make, there's a fairly current list of restaurants, clubs, and shops on the South Side in my Sahside page. Stop by and take a look: http://www.maya.com/Local/sahside/. Question for the day: Is the South Side Pittsburgh's Boardwalk?
