You are referring to China Palace which also has locations on Walnut
Street in Shadyside and in Sewickley.

IMHO, China Palace is above the Pgh average for Chinese food. I
personally prefer it to Sesame Inn.

Both China Palace and Sesame Inn are fine, but I think that Orient
Kitchen on Semple Street in South Oakland is better because it is more
 authentic.

After eating a lot of Chinese food and five years experience working in
a Chinese restaurant during college and grad school, I have concluded
that more authentic is almost always better when it comes to Chinese
 food.

BTW, if you go to Orient Kitchen - they actually have two different
menus. Ask for the Chinese one.

Well, we tried this place and I must say I think their egg rolls are about
the best I have had in Pittsburgh. Food was good.

Haven't been to the Orient Kitchen, but Pearl Dynasty in Dormont gets my
 vote for best Chinese food.

I don't know if it's "authentic" -- whatever that means.
