Philly Fevre near 23rd on Madison seems to be the best, followed by Philly's Best on 23rd a few blocks south of Philly Fevre (meat is chopped too fine and makes for a very dry sandwich). Kira's near 175th in Shoreline makes a great sandwich that's not really authentic too. I'm going to Allentown over the holidays, I'll be hitting the Brass Rail for the Allentown style cheesesteak (they only use onions, no green pepper, and use a tomato/worstershire steak sauce). Might even get me a cheesesteak omellete for breakfast!! Yummmmmmmmmmm, can't wait! Extra cheese for me please! Rick remove "-nospam" after "rsl" in email address to reply
