Cheap Eats in Center City

There's not much there, but my favorite cheap eats within 3 blocks is the St. George's diner (I think on Race), about two blocks east. Chicken parm sandwich is about $4.00 and they're open all night. 22nd & Cherry is the Cherry St. Tavern for Great roast beef and chili. Subway is on the Parkway. Basset's Turkey is nearby but not open late. Best to drag your ass to Chinatown. If you're working around lunchtime don't miss Rangoon's < $5.00 Burmese lunch specials.

Cheers,
Jan
