I recommend Chaya, a new sushi place on Murray in Squirrel Hill, next to Pino's. Yasu, the sushi chef, started the restaurant after leaving New Sam-Bok in the Strip. He has a great feeling for good fish, uses fresh wasabi, and the other Japanese food is excellent. (The broth in the udon noodle soup is divine!) A few things to keep in mind: 1. As of late January they had not liquor license. Don't know if they plan to get one or not. Come prepared. 2. It is a bit pricier than other sushi places in Pgh, but _definitely_ worth it!!! 3. The restaurant fills up quite quickly- it is not uncommon to have to wait over 30 minutes for a table on a weekend night.
