Pip's Diner in West End is very good, but is only open for breakfast and
lunch, and is closed on Sundays.

 Dear Mike

I like to go to the Venus Siner located near the Turnpike and route 8 in
Richland. We enjoy the breakfast, the marrange (sic) pies are great.
Golfers on their way to Butller County always stop there for breakfast.
Have near had lunch or dinner there,m but country breakfast would probably
kill you if you had it often enough. I wish I could find a place that has
good homefries. Most places precook and then only brown them. I think you
need to make them from scratch each time which I do every Saturday and
Sunday and have yet to come across a dines that makes them as good I do.,
MOdesty is not my trait when it comes to homefries.

Two that I have been to and enjoyed are the Norwin Diner on Route 30 going past Norwin toward Irwin, and Dick's Diner on Route 22 past Murraysville.

Both have basic home-cooking with very good home-made desserts. Norwin, especially, is known for there pies. On a busy night, we will reserve our pies before we order our dinners.

Ritter's in Shadyside (on Baum I think) is pretty good.
