We had a charming al fresco experience at Sunnyledge in Shadyside. An
elegant restored home that now operates as a B&B, Sunnyledge offers
outside dining on its porch overlooking Fifth Avenue. The food could
have been better, but the atmosphere was great. And a bonus: my little
dog, whose name is also Mary Lennox, sat under the table all through
 the meal.
