georgie's and tom's are two diners scattered around the burgh that
appear to be open 24 hours. i forget where tom's is (haven't actually
been there), but georgies can be gotten to by going through the liberty
tunnels and making a right onto a highway type thing and going for a
distance (a mile or so). it'll be a bright neon place on the
left. you'll have to excuse the directions but i've only been driven
 there.

it's decent place for 4am. the jalapeno poppers are yummy!

Tom's Diner is a pgh classic.
Highlights that I have tried are:

Gyros and several breakfasts: pancakes, eggs hash browns etc.
They have a fairly varied menu.

 Directions EASY!!
Outbound Liberty Tubes, straight about three miles,
 on West Liberty Avenue.
They are on your left past the intersection of W. Liberty
and Potomac. The Library and Police Station are too far.

 Enjoy!
