Where to get the "best" Rugalah in Boston? I was cruisin' up 84 last night and got some at Reins. The chocolate was OK but the cinnamon was divine! Flaky, crusty and cinnamony on the outside, light and fresh on the inside! With little crisps of cooked cinnamon hanging off. (Im not into apricot anything.) I had really excellent rugalah at Katzinger's Deli in Columbus, Ohio. Katzinger's is an oasis in a desert. This summer I will once again be delighted by not only the rugalah but the orgasmic combination of chopped liver and pastrami on rye w/russian dressing. They do it up quite well. Now, what about the origin of rugalah? Is that shrouded in mystery and controversy as well? :) Ever notice as you get older you think less about sex and more about food? Anyone notice this? I mean anyone over 29? :) And anyone who is a food lover. A Boston Food Lover. (My lover game me that book. Discussing it's choices could be a whole 'nother thread...) David
