It depends upon where you will be in the area. Downtown has the five star Maisonette or the adjacent La Normandie Grill, good but overpriced. Ciao Baby Cuccina, one location downtouwn, another north of town; good Italian type fare. The ubiquitous Morton's steak house. Mallorca, a spanish style place next door to the Maisonette. All kinds of little bistro style places in the Mount Adams area just east of downtown ( a must go anyway just for the view of the city). Across the river is a gaggle of eateries on the water. One is on a barge, has a big disco and all of that but the food is not half bad. The Netherlands hotel has a decent restaurant and the decor is incredible. North of town in Glendale is the Grand Finale, a creperie with some of the city's better desserts. In a couple of locations are Montgomery Inns. The ribs are quite good ( these people are doing something right. The company did about $20 million in business last year.) If you stay downtown, breakfast at Gratzi's Coffee at 4th and Walnut or Stonemill Bread Company on 4th. If you have any questions, you can e-mail me. Richard Moreland

We'll be in Cincinatti in mid September for a conference. What's to do there and what can we expect from the food in the area? TIA
