I am not sure if it is still open, but Izzy Kadetz (sic) made the best corned beef sandwich I have had outside NYC.  When I went, Izzy and his wife would argue behind the counter as they made sandwiches.  the place was located downtown.  I am not sure of the address.

Forget Izzy's - very, very mediocre.  Instead come to Columbus and have a corned beef sandwich BETTER than any in New York (trust me!) at Katzinger's.  Judy
