Instead, I settled on the Great Lakes Brewing Co., which not only had excellent beer but very good food (the spinach pie--or whatever it was called--with sausage and cheese was excellent). Not sure what you're looking for, and it's been a while since I've been in Cleveland. Cleveland Recommendations?

I'd recommend Players, which is in Lakewood (And also has a Shaker Square location-I haven't been to that one.) Sans Souci downtown always gets voted best restaurant. I haven't been there though. If you want to eat downtown, I like Sweetwater's Sausalito Cafe in the Galleria Mall. Villa D'este in Little Italy is nice. If you want good authentic Mexican, try Luchita's on W. 117th street. The Mad Geek in Cleveland Heights is cool for Greek and Indian food. Enjoy your trip.
