Their suggestions are Chinese (China Gourmet in Hyde Park), Italian (Scotti's located on Vine Street, diagonally across from the Kroger Building downtown), Hungarian (Lehnart's [probably spelled wrong here] in the University of Cincinnati Clifton area), Cincinnati chili (Camp Washington Chili, take exit 3 on I-75, turn right onto Hopple St., and in one block it's on the right at the corner of Colerain; also several franchise chili joints like Gold Star or Skyline specialize in Cincinnati chili). Traditional restaurants are the Montgomery Inn (world-famous ribs, 3 locations including downtown called the Montgomery Boathouse), The Precinct (for steaks, on Columbia Parkway), Maisonette (French cuisine; downtown, really expensive, one of the longest running 5-star restaurants in the country). Enjoy! ----------- Karen M. Drabenstott [email removed]

I'd say for a first-timer, don't miss the chili, but stick to Skyline. Preferable locations (for me) are the corner of Clifton and Ludlow, near the University, or the Montgomery Road location. Guy

Enjoy! Downstairs from the Maisonette is a place called something like La Normandy. Same kitchen, 1/2 to 2/3 the price. Steve Butcher > >----------- >Karen M. Drabenstott >[email removed] >
