Wonderful vegetarian and seafood dishes - I specially recommend the plaki. They have a few meat dishes but the menu emphasis is on fish and veggies. Terrific desserts, too, and a good wine selection. It's on West Franklin street, the south side. Peter G. Aitken
Anothertyme in Durham, right near Brightleaf Square has several vegetarian things on their menu. Easy to find on the corner of Main and Gregson, sort of across from Steve and Clarks. Also, you can't go wrong with the Pyewacket in Chapel Hill. They always have a plaki entree as well as wonderful curries and stir-frys. The hummus is extraordinary, and I don't even like hummus. It's on the west end of Franklin Street at the corner of Robertson (I think). I would recommend reservations at both places. The stroll will be more pleasant in Chapel Hill, as are most things. ========== [email removed] Those who profess to favor freedom and yet deprecate agitation are people who want crops without plowing up the ground....
