Best: Magnolia Grill in Durham, Nana's in Durham and La Residence in Chapel Hill (new chef there now, big improvement). These are the serious in the Triangle. On Sat./sun 11-3 there is really good dim sum at the Hong Kong in Durham Seoul House in Raleihg has good Korean food. New Orleans Cookery in Chapel Hill is a very good modest place. Henry's Bistro in Chapel Hill is good. Crook's Corner in Chapel Hill is of great historical importance in the revival of good avant garde Southern cooking (Bill Neal's legacy) and I am told it is still good.

mediocre at best. i ate there over a period of seven years, by default. i now live near denver where there is first rate korean food and the comparison is odious.
