>: We will be on Pawley's Island at the end of the month. Are there any
>: good restaurants in the area (we can go as far a Myrtle Beach if need be).

Take the time to go all the way to Little River to eat at The Parson's Table. It is, without a doubt, the best food I have ever eaten. (Their credentials impressed me too :)

Closer, not as good, but still enjoyed was Flo's (cajun/creole), in Murrels Inlet.

Enjoy!

At Pawley's Island try the Island Deli for lunch- get the Strom Thurmond sandwich!

For dinner Ivory's is a great place -piano, bar, fine dining. A friend of mine owns the place. seafood, steak, chicken, pasta,.....

There are lots of Calabash type seafood restaurants in Murrells Inlet which is a few miles north on 17. Most offer the same buffet style. good if you want fried seafood.
