There is Greenshields pub in downtown Raleigh. In Durham there is a brew pub whose current name I cannot remember--it used to be The Weeping Radish. There is probably one or more brew pubs in Chapel Hill, but I do not know names. If you need more info, you may want to post on the Triangle--General newsgroup if you can access it.

There is also a brewpub in Durham, or at least used to be.

It was also called The Weeping Radish, also, but I believe they changed the name in 1991 to something else. It's quite near Brightleaf Square (a Yuppscale shopping mall) and the Another Thyme restaurant, if memory serves.

But the "brew" from the Weeping Radish in Manteo is superb- rivals those of the Europeans, a bit pricey for NC but worth every sip. e.
