My wife and I tried The Black Marlin in Cameron Village a couple of months ago. If we judged it only on the food, I would give it a fairly low rating (to be fair, they specialize in seafood and we did not choose that, so they may do seafood very well!). However, the jazz combo playing in the corner really made the evening, particularly since we had not expected it. Good music, great service, reasonable prices for something a little special, food... well, you decide. I don't know how often they do music, but a call or a peek at the Independent should provide the answer. > I agree we need more good places. Jeez, I've never talked to anyone who'd been there that *doesn't* miss Stephen's After All! I unfortunately didn't spend nearly enough time there before it closed. If anyone wants to try to recreate it, I'll spend my money with you! > arthur coston > > > > Paula > > TP The above opinions are only barely mine and probably do not reflect those of NorTel, yadda, yadda, yadda.
