In reply to Greg McDonald re Hilton Head I have three suggestions:

        Old Fort Pub- in the North end on the island, Hilton Head Plan-
tation- very good food and a lovely view of the Intercoastal Waterway

      Fitzgerald's- just SW of Coligny Circle- it isn't really on the ocean,
since most of the view is blocked by buildings, bu friends and I took a group of 11 there in '95 and NO ONE had a complaint about their selections.

      Cafe Europa- under the lighthouse in Harbourtown, Sea Pines-
VERY good food and nice views of the Mediterranean-type yacht basin- warning this is one of the busiest places on the island and parking in the evening can be really awful
