I went there for the first time last Friday night and I was really impressed. But I was ready to be overwhelmed when I went in due to some previous comments I'd heard about "skimpy portions" and somesuch. That, and I'm still bitter about the Abacus closing. Anyway, I was very pleased with my meal, moreso than I was ever pleased with EEE. Piping hot, very good taste, reheated well for lunch the next day, and not as noisy as 518 West. I got a grilled portabella for an appetizer and a shrimp and pasta plate in a spicy red sauce - really good, and there was plenty of it. I barely ate half my serving before getting really full. The bread was terrific, too. Everyone at our table was extremely satified with their food and we'll probably go back soon.
