I just had breakfast today at the newer Elmo's, and the food tasted every bit as good as did the fare I've had at the original. The menus appear to be the same, and what I've always found to be the friendly demeanor and competence of the Carrboro staff seems to be in evidence at the 9th St. location. Granted, one breakfast doth not a grand perspective make, and I've eaten at the original Elmo's only a handful of times, but the food, decor, politeness of the waitstaff, and promptness of service all seemed comparable between the new and the old. Bottom line: If you like the Elmo's in Carrboro, chances are you'll be just as pleased with the one in Durham. YMMV. DC Dastardly Dave Cohen Ah, Mr. Zeau, I presume [email removed]
