North Carolina
Durham-Chapel Hill BEST Restaurant
I have eaten at a place I believe is called The Black Angus Farm. anyway the name had something to do with a Steer. This is a busy place featuring steaks , chops, chicken and such. It is on Rt 70 near Cary. Regards, Bob

Well, it's NORTH of Cary, but it's really closest to the Raleigh/Durham International Airport along Route 70. I've heard good and bad things about it. It's certainly hideously expensive and it's the only restaurant I know of that has its own marked exit off a highway. :)

FWIW, I've been to the Angus Barn a few times and thought it was
HIGHLY overrated. The atmosphere was pretty nice.. but I didn't think the food was worth the exorbidant prices. For my money, if I want steak, I'll be seen at Lone Star.Someone wrote:

Yes, there's that! I think the Angus Barn has the best wine cellar in North Carolina. That said, it's an overpriced steakhouse.
I think a strong argument could be made for Nana's, in Durham.

======================================================================The best in the Triangle? It's still Stutton's Drug Store; trailed closely by the just-reopened Hector's on Franklin St. with it's great chilli-cheesburger on a pita! Delicious!
