There's a really good place in Raleigh called Brigg's. It's on the corner of Strickland & Creedmore. They specialize in brunches.

BTW, there is also a Briggs in Durham that would probably be a shorter trip.  It is on Hwy 55 just south (southeast?) of the 54/55 intersection. It will be on the right in the shoping center behind Subway/Scholtskys (sp?).
