It was certainly lavishly enough appointed: They had : a crystal mint bowl, gold-plated men's room faucets and urinal handles, and : twenty-foot tall potted palms in the dining room. They seated me in the : relatively small non-smoking dining room.

I had dinner at the Tyson's Clyde's last Friday night, and we ordered a full meal with wine, appetizers, entrees and dessert. Even though they say their fish is fresh, it's still overcooked and really boring. Likewise the accompanying vegetables. The salads and desserts were overpriced and not very good either. The wine list, however, is fairly extensive if somewhat overpriced.

My wife and I agreed that Clyde's is a place to get burgers, sandwiches, beer, and other simple foods that can't be ruined by college kids in the kitchen. The atmosphere really is pretty interesting, and I would go back anytime for a burger. But not for a full meal.

The government only feels the need to regulate things which are a health hazard, which happen to not be a big business in THIS STATE!!!.
Not ALL hamburgers have e coli in dangerous quantities, however, more and more evidence mounts by the week supporting anti-smoking laws. There has been NO recent legislation demanding "healthier" cigarettes, yet 1000s of people die PER DAY of smoking related illnesses. The key: money. RJ Reynolds has a much stronger hold on the NC govt than does the cattleman's association. If the government were truly interested in public health, they would go after the biggies, not isolated problems..
On the other hand, Americans are SO STUPID when it comes to their health (although we are among the brightest in the world), that their selfish desire for undercooked meat is far more important than any hazard posed by microscopic enemies. So, the govt needs to do all it can to EASILY protect citizens against their own stupidity and selfishness.
If you see my point, can you tell me what it is?? I don't!!
One last note: the population of specific microorganisms is NOT constant. Through time, organisms die and geneticly change (see Charles Darwin). What this means for us is we constantly have to re-adjust. Just because something was safe 100 years ago doesn't mean that it is safe now. For instance, think of the growing cases of botulism on chicken farms, and growing penicillin resistance.
just to make this a triangle dining note :) I went to Alexander's at Bent Tree Plaza on Falls of the Neuse and it was outstanding. I had a Greek Salad and the Lamb with Artichokes dish. Easily one of the best plates of food I've had in a while.
