I was just thinking about all of the phenomenal pizza places that we have here in Buffalo, NY. Add that to the thread on Chicago hot dogs, and it makes me wonder: "What's your favorite pizza ever?" Here, all the Pizza Huts had to close because the local pizzerias were just that good. Here's my short list of best pizza I've ever had:

1) Leona's - Chicago, IL
2) La Nova - Buffalo,NY http://www.lanova.com - also some of the BEST chicken wings!!
3) Buddy's - Detroit, MI
4) Wiseguy's on Hertel - Buffalo, NY
5) The ORIGINAL Ray's Pizza on 6th Ave in NYC/Greenwich VIllage

Pizzaria Bianco in Pheonix is excellent. One of the best restaurants in that town.

In Harrisburg, PA I used to work in a place called Zephyr's express which used to have great sandwiches, salads and pastas. we also made "gourmet pizzas" like: Vegetarian Cheeseless Spinach and Feta BBQ Pizza w/ sausage Mexican Chicken (with a green salsa base) White Pizza 5 Cheese Pizza

and couple more I can't remember. Small pizzas (12") on thin crusts but very, VERY good.
