Anyway, there are three great plAces in Buffalo. The Hourglass on Kenmore Ave. is traditional and always superlative. Best seafood and desserts. Fine service. The Rue Franklin West, on Franklin St., is Buffalo's ops only French restaurant. Super quality. Daniel's in Hamburg on Buffalo St., 1/2 hr. south of Buffalo and therefore much closer to Fredonia, is innovative contemporAry American n and the chef is the owner. In Fredonia there is the White Inn which has charm. My friends enjoy it, but I have not been there recently. Bestwishes, James Wallace done

Fredonia is only 40 minutes away from Buffalo on a snow day!! Check out the Asa Ransom house in Clarence (Rte. 5), That's probably the best for what you're looking for (romantic, dollars no object ;-) Bill Leonard
