We were in Albuquerque and Santa Fe just 3 weeks ago and the best restaurant we went to was the Coyote Cafe in Santa Fe, it was sort of "nouvel" Mexican and we thought it was excellent. In Albuquerque we went to Duncan's which is expensive and attractive, the food was very good but not particularly Mexican.
