Still no brewpubs in Jersey, so you're out of luck on that one - but go to the Alchemist and Barrister on Witherspoon St. for some good brews, often including Long Trail Ale from Vermont and many other excellent US and imported brews (cognacs and scotches, too!). For a feel of the town, have pizza (thin crust, very crisp, best pepperoni in the world!) at Conte's, out at the end of Witherspoon, and have breakfast at P.J.'s Pancake House on Nassau, a Princeton institution. There are a few interesting ethnic restaurants, including a Greek place on Witherspoon (forgot the name; across the street from Lahiere's, an excellent French restaurant, but fairly expensive; formal and dressy). Lots of good Chinese in the area, including one place next to the Princeton Junction train station (on the route 1 side of the tracks). Have fun!
