Go to The Clam Broth House in the next town over, Hoboken. Of course TCBH isn't what it used to be backin the days when Brando filmed "On The Waterfront" (and neither is the neighborhood) but it is a very nice place.

Bon appetit,

Dave

There is a very large (eastern) Indian population in JC. Just head down Newark Ave and you'll find several good restaurants. My favourite is Sargam, southern Indian. The ragda patties are perfection.

Nearby JC is Hoboken, by car (not much parking) or PATH. Now gentrified, there are any number of very nice places of all kinds esp along Washington Street. - JB
