The Purple Urchin is a "bistro" in a porch-like setting, with beach views, on the second floor of the Hampton Beach Casino. Reasonably good light fare, sandwiches and salads, a yuppie food oasis among the fried dough stands. Not accessible, but neither is the Casino ballroom. Ron's Beach Club, about 1/2 mile further north up the beach, is a better pick for fine seaside dining.
