Don't eat much steak but if he is impressed with R-C, then it won't be hard to beat that. Sorry, no recommendation, though, although there must be a Morton's in Vegas.

Saigon. Hole in the wall, but clean. Very authentic and the food is great. Lots of locals, few tourists.

Orchid Cuisine. More Asian Fusion, than Chinese. Hell, you can get Kung Pao Chicken anywhere in the world, why waste a night on the Hong Kong Garden?

Settle for Southwestern? Star Canyon used to be, but since Stephen Pyles sold out to TGIF, I'd be suspect.

Aureole. Not as good as the NY original but still excellent.

True. Unfortunately, it's in Chicago.

Dunno about the LV SC, but the one in Dallas still rocks. Great room, great service, great food.

As for Mex, there are several Macayo's around LV and I think they are pretty good. Not like my fave TexMex back home, but a nice range of dishes with some unique touches. Their creamy Baja sauce is available on several items and is quite good.
