Though its outside appearance might scare you away, you will need to arrive early to beat Reno locals into the Liberty Belle (on South Virginia St.). Primarily a steak house with fine prime rib, the LB is open for lunch(serve yourself) and full service dinners. Dino will also pour you a pretty fine drink, especially if you mention how good a camel driver he is.

My only connection to the LB is a long memory of excellent meals I've had there over the years.

I enjoyed a Basque restaurant when I was there but I can't recall the name now. I think there are several Basque restaurants in Reno. The service is family style and the food is good. Sorry about the name. You could ask around when you get there. Kate
