In response to where are the good places to eat in Vegas. There are many good ones. The one next to the Sands you are thinking of is the Rosewood Grille. If you like seafood, try Buzio's oyster bar and seafood restaurant at Rio's--better than anything in L.A. Also, Emeril's at the MGM for New Orleans seafood. MGM also has many other fine restaurants--southwestern, Italian, etc. If you are a steak person, Morton's of Chicago, Ruth Criss and The Palm are all there. As far as Buffets go, I just ate at the Caesars dinner buffet and it was excellent; not the usual greasy junk that the cheaper buffets dish out.
